I’m Manir Fadel.
Brazilian. Born and raised in São Paulo. Married. Have a lovely daughter, Sophia.
And a crazy Golden Retriever, Buda. After 20 years working in Brazilian agencies –
more than half of this time at TBWA – I’ve said yes to JWT London. And, after that,
another yes to Red Fuse Y&R Paris, where I currently work.

I’m a writer by nature. And I like ideas that are big, simple, visually striking
and media agnostic. Here you’ll see some work that I’ve created and produced with
the partnership of amazingly talented people that I’ve been lucky enough to meet during
these years. On some ideas I was the CCO, ECD or CD. On others, I was a Copywriter.

I have UK and France work permit.

Speak native Portuguese, fluent English, good Spanish and basic French.

In 2010, I was ranked one of the 10 most awarded Creative Directors in
During more than 20 years in advertising, I won all the major awards of
the industry, including 24 Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, D&AD, One
Show, IPA, Gunn Report, Clio and all local awards, such as
Prêmio Abril and CCSP. In 2010, I was ranked one of the 10 most awarded Creative
Directors in Cannes.In Cannes 2018, we won 3 Lions for Colgate and Protex.
They’re the first Cannes Lions in Red Fuse Paris’ history. And, funny enough,
Colgate was the only Cannes Lion in Print for France this year.


Before moving to Red Fuse Y&R Paris, I was at JWT London, working for Unilever.
During my TBWA days, I was part of the team behind the Global Gatorade World Cup Campaign.
I’ve coordinated Latin American teams on a regional campaign for Visa.
And I’ve also worked in several pitches and swats around the world,
mainly at Chiat/Day/Los Angeles. I used to be a member of the board of CCSP,
the Creative Circle of São Paulo, while I was living in Brazil.


There’s a long list, but I’ll make it short: Unilever, Nissan, Gatorade,
Adidas, Visa, Natura, Real ABN AMRO Bank, Banco do Brasil, Cacau Show, TAM
Airlines, Telefonica, Honda, among others.


In the last years, I’ve helped the agency to win some important

VALE, the biggest mining company in Brazil.
BANCO DO BRASIL, Brazil’s national bank.
CACAU SHOW, one of the most important chocolate producers of Brazil.
OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE, the famous restaurant chain.
